Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), PDPL (Saudi Arabia / UAE), and PDPA (Singapore / Thailand).
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, locale, timezone.
- Profile data: resume, work history, skills, rate expectations.
- Usage data: pages visited, searches, applications submitted.
- Device data: IP address, browser/OS, device identifier.
How we use it
- To operate and improve the Platform.
- To match candidates with relevant jobs.
- To send transactional emails (account, applications, billing).
- To send marketing emails — only if you opt in.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
- Employers: when you apply to a job, the employer sees your application data.
- Sub-processors: Stripe (billing), AWS (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Sentry (errors), PostHog (analytics). Full list available on request.
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to processing or restrict it.

Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Application data shared with employers is retained according to the employer's configured retention policy, capped at 24 months by default.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed with argon2id. Access to production data is restricted and logged.
